LA VIE PROVENÇALE

Projet d’aménagement de mas provençal guidé par une volonté de sérénité, de confort visuel, et de joie de vivre par l’apport d’items colorés. Nous réinventons le mas typique en mélangeant des inspirations : provençale, brutaliste et japonaise, ainsi qu’en combinant différentes époques de mobilier.

Epuration de l’architecture tout en conservant le charme inné des lieux (sol en travertin, poutres apparentes, contours de portes). Réinterprétation de certains ouvrants en alcoves colorées mettant en scène le passé des lieux ainsi que les objets qui y sont disposés. Création et sélection de pièces de mobilier pour la force et la chaleur qu’elles apportent à l’espace. Incorporation du travail d’artistes contemporains en peintures, sculptures et compositions florales.

Espace cuisine contemporain dessiné autour d’un îlot central à l’apparence de table. En pièce maîtresse, l’îlot s’affranchit des codes de la cuisine et anime le lieu avec un plateau déhanché et un piètement sculptural.

Provencal farmhouse renovation project guided by a desire for serenity, visual comfort, and joie de vivre through the addition of colorful items. We reinvent the typical farmhouse by mixing inspirations: Provençal, brutalist and Japanese, together with combining different periods of furniture.

Simplification of the architecture while retaining the innate charm of the place (travertine floor, exposed beams, door outlines). Reinterpretation of certain openings in colored alcoves, highlighting the past of the place as well as the objects which are placed there. Creation and selection of pieces of furniture for the strength and warmth they bring to the space. Incorporation of the work of contemporary artists into paintings, sculptures and flower arrangements.

Kitchen area designed around a central island that looks like a table. As a centerpiece, the island frees itself from the codes of the kitchen and animates the place with a swaying top and a sculptural base.
